These pictures are from my very first vacation with Mommy and Daddy. They took me with them up to San Simeon, CA. It's about 240 miles from home. We stayed four nights at the Best Western Cavalier Resort in "The Terrace." The Terrace sits right on the bluffs overlooking the beach!

	We arrived at The Terrace around 3:30 PM got all unpacked and settled down on the balcony for "Happy Hour" and to watch the sunset. Mom says I don't get any - so I have to just sniff the alcohol on her breath.		Oh - Vodka and Orange Juice - that's good stuff !
	Little terriers get drunk and fall asleep way to fast!		This is Ragged Point. It's really pretty here!
	We drove up along Highway 1 towards Big Sur and Carmel. Very twisty road hugging the side of the mountains. We stopped lots of places to look and walk.		Mommy kept saying how clear and pretty the water was. Lots of rocks make it interesting.
	Mommy and Daddy said this looked like a mini Stonehenge. I don't know what that is - but somebody sure spent a lot of time piling these big rocks up!		Mommy and Me at "Stonehenge." It's kinda pretty I guess.
	Mom really likes the rocky coast. She enjoys spending hours sitting and watching for otters, seals and whales.		This is Dad and Me. Aren't the flowers pretty? They were all over and made Mommy sneeze a lot! That's Pedras Blancas Lighthouse in the background.
	This area has a big elephant seal colony. Mommy loves to watch the babies. They have to teach themselves to catch fish and swim. Boy are they noisy!		This is another spot at Ragged Point. I'm sure glad the trail down to the beach was closed!
	Me and Dad stopped for a break. More pretty flowers. We saw lots of butterflies and a couple hummingbirds.		Don't I look cute walking along the garden path!
	More elephant seals. Mom spends way too much time watching them!		This is part of the bluff just below our balcony.
	That's enough - I've been walking around all day - let's go inside.		I said I'm tired. You go walk if ya want Mom - I DON'T WANT TO GO!
	I want to go inside and nap!		I don't have to potty and I see no point in walking along here.
	NO, NO, NO - I'M NOT GOING!		Poor little terrier. Don't you feel sorry for me?
	Someone call the Humane Society - I'm being mistreated! Eventually I got my way. Mommy carried me upstairs for a nap!		Friday was kinda overcast. But we drove down to Moonstone Beach to walk on the boardwalk. These little squirrels were all over the place - but Mom and Dad wouldn't let me chase them.
	If ya look on the rocks behind us you'll see some Harbor Seals. They look like fat sausages to me.		Me and Dad sitting on a bench along Moonstone Beach boardwalk. Cool tree behind us. The wind blows them into funny shapes.
