Rocker Rails Installation
This page shows the installation of A&A Corvette Specialties Rocker Rails by Andy Green. The Rocker Rails are Aluminum rails mounted just inboard of the rocker panels directly to the frame. They are bolt on with one-step drilling. Drill bit size is 3/16" for the Rocker Rails. Just line up the indentations on the back side with the rivets and bolts in the frame. That way they will lay nice and flush. The rails protect the rocker panels from damage.
Andy Green did a great job! He was reliable, accurate and VERY careful with my new baby (Corvette). He also installed his Frame Savers, Exhaust Mod, Vortex Rammer & Vortex Power Duct at the same time.

Here is a picture of the front of the rocker rail. Note the bar is curved up to follow the contour of the frame and to eliminate the chance of catching the end on any obstacle. Also the top side is counter sunk to clear factory rivets and bolt heads.
