Press Pass has added an additional hit to every box this year making the value for your money even better.

The base set is one of the largest of each year and consists of 100 cards. These cards have vibrant photography and many action photos on and off the track.

The base also has some parallel versions. These are cyan numbered to 35, yellow numbered to 5, magenta which is only available in retail and the black which are one per pack.

The inserts are foil based and first is the racing champions set. They average 1 per 6 packs and feature the winners of each race. With 36 cards this one will take some work to complete. The smaller and more rare set is the cool persistence featuring different drivers with write ups. They appear 1 per 15 packs and only have 9 cards.

Back in 2013 is the Hall of Fame continuity set. Unlike 2012 the cards are being released with different inductees and only 3 cards per member. Also in this release only are the zero card featuring the 12 chase contenders and the cup chase contest card.

As mentioned earlier there is an additional memorabilia hit in each box. Also in every third box you will find an autograph. Our box did hit with an autograph and it resembles the old press pass signings autographs that were extremely popular. I think I saw a another autograph that was die cut. Our hits were the burning rubber cards with race winning tires. Other hits that can be found are three wide, four wide and signature series.

Press Pass is always a fun release to open. The additional hit adds to the value of the box as do the cup chase contest cards. The retro theme on the signings autographs were a nice touch seeing that they were some of the nicest ever. The one thing that might serve this product in the future is to delay the release and try to get photos from the last race and the championship banquets. also delaying the release will make the wait for the next product not seem so long.
