5. occupation??: Work for a Liquor Distributor, currently as a Brand Manager, managing 35 suppliers.
6. why your id??: My name honestly, but I think some people may think it means that I lost my riches Ð of course that would mean that I had riches to begin with, which I never have had.
7. what is your avatar?: Lumbergh, the boss from the movie Office Space. (Highly recommend the movie to anyone if you havenÕt seen it, especially if you work in a cubicle.)
8. Location: I live in Mt. Prospect Illinois Ð the town where the police cars came from in the movie Blues Brothers, and YES they really were Mt. Prospect police cars that they bought at auction Ð just like they say in the movie! Mt. Prospect is a suburb about 30 minutes Northwest of Chicago.
9 hobbies outside of collecting: Camping, well if you consider a 35Õx12Õ trailer, deck with beer fridge and outdoor kitchen and screen room for entertaining, camping! LOL Oh and did I mention my friend/neighbor across the street has a gazebo with a hot tub and kegarator? LOL, yeah as you can imagine we rough it when we camp! Visit www.woodhavenlakes.com to see more about my ÒSummer HomeÓ get away. Other than camping, I recently began making my own beer, enjoy music, movies and tinkering with computers.
10 who you collect: Kasye Kahne, mainly serial numbered cards, though I will cofess adding a few Rusty Wallace, Clint Bowyer, and Richard Petty cards to my personal collection as well.
11. your favorite card: Hard to say though I really like the Legends Solo 1/1 Kahne card that is shared with all on the NUTS wallpaper.
12. how you display or store your collection: I donÕt physically display my collection of cards, I do however have all of my Mounted Memories frames, race used sheet metal, helmet, hats, model cars and many other collectibles on display in my house. I do display most of my card collection online at my photobucket.
13. favorite trade: I really couldnÕt pinpoint any 1 trade as being my favorite but would instead say that I have made many trades with many people on this site and have received many cards that will never leave my private collection through these trades.
14. best buy: Great store! Oh....you mean cardÉ.I have gotten quite a few great deals on the ÒbayÓ and really canÕt remember one that would stand out as the Òbest buyÓ.
15. how long have you been a collector: About 5 years now.
16. favorite track: I have to say Chicagoland cause I live here but honestly does anything really beat Bristol at night? (Hope to make it there sooner than later)
17. favorite driver past and present: Past: THE KING/Richard Petty, Present: Kasey Kahne
18. favorite racing moment: This might sound silly, but it was when Kasey crashed into the wall at Chicagoland Speedway in 2003. Why, you askÉbecause it was my first time at an actual Cup race and I now own the front clip from that car.
19. what lead you to nuts: You know, I honestly wish I could remember WHO sent me the invite, but I honestly canÕt remember who it was Ð I do remember the invite came along with a card I had purchased off of eBay!
20. what you enjoy the most about nuts: The most enjoyable part of NUTS is getting to know people and making friends through trades. ItÕs interesting to see how different people view trades and how those thoughts tend to change as they become full fledged members of the NUTS community. I know I, for one, have been the giver and the recipient of more than one Òsurprise bubble envelopeÓ from a fellow member!
21. brief ending: ÒI personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uhmmm, some people, out there in our nation donÕt have maps and uh, I believe that our, I, education like such as uh, South Africa, and uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should, uhhh, our education over here in the US should help the U.S., uh, should help South Africa, it should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future, for us.Ó OK. OK, so I stole that from Miss Teen South Carolina but honestlyÉ I would not have the Kasey Kahne card collection that I have today without all of you fellow NUTS! I really enjoy being able to get cards to, or trade cards to, people who need them as much, if not more, than I do getting cards I need in return.
