who do you collect and why: I collect Dale Jr, and that is who I root for every sunday. I've liked him ever since he started in the busch series partly because I liked Dale Sr so much, but mostly because he seems really down to earth, more like a real person than other professional athletes.
when did you start collecting: I started collecting cards when I was probably 8 or 9. I collected football and NBA. ( I was a huge Magic Johnson fan). I stopped collecting cards for a lot of years, and started again when my wife was pregnant. I thought it would be a cool thing to do with my son, and to pass on to him someday.
favorite card: Oh man, thats tough.. My favorite pull was 2005 legends Dale Sr treads & threads. What a thrill that was to pull. I was jumping up and down like a kid!
My other favorite card would have to be my 2005 PP Dale Jr auto.
favorite driver past and present: As stated above, Dale Sr/ Dale Jr...
favorite track: DAYTONA!! and its the only one I've ever been to. Hoping to make it to every track before I die, but man the Daytona 500 was unbelievable to be a part of.
hobbies outside of collecting: I have been playing guitar since I was 12. I also love wood working, and just being outside as much as possible. But spending time with my boys is first and foremost!!
name something we would never guess about you: I have a slight case of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) If you need to know anymore ask my poor wife... LOL
if i were joe gibbs i would? Have done everything in my power to hire Dale Jr. and stay with Chevy, but since I didnt I would go out and buy a VERY VERY short leash for Kyle Busch, and buy Stewart/Hamlin some boxing gloves, and implement team fight night every monday following a race.
what is that one card you crave the most? ANY DALE JR SIG SERIES "I want, I want.. I need, I need".
what is it about nuts that you enjoy the most: The people.. I've been a part of NUTS for a very long time now, and have enjoyed every day. I love the fact that I dont have to worry about who I am trading with on here and everything runs smooth.
best trade?with who? Theres been so many great trades.. I would have to say any trade that helped me complete my treads & threads or sunday swatches sets. And of course the trade I made with Chris to get my Dale Jr auto!!
best ebay buy: I cant recall any big time purchases. I'm not a huge ebay guy.. I've made some sweet pick ups to help me complete my sets ans stuff, but my sweetest cards have always come in trades.
