We have the tremendous opportunity to bust a box of legends football. It is set up just like the racing legends. Its a box with 3 mini boxes inside. Each mini box contains six packs of five cards each.

The cards feature players past and present in their college uniforms. Some of the legends that are included in the set are Joe Theisman, Lawrence Taylor, and Fran Tarkenton.

The set starts off with a 100 card base set. Photographs are in black and white where appropriate and color for the more modern players.

We didn't receive a complete base set which is disappointing. It will take at least two boxes to complete the base set. All of the photographs appear to be the players on field. No posed photography here. The base set is a clean look which includes the school logo in the bottom right corner.

There are 5 levels of parallel numbered cards for the base set including a 1/1.

The insert sets are called all conference, alumni association and legends of the fall. The alumni associating inserts are my favorite because they put a current player and a legend from the same school on one card.

Game used are inserted at one per box which have 3 levels. A regular jersey swatch card , a premium swatch which is numbered /99 and a platinum version numbered to 25 or less. We pulled a premium swatch of Lesean Mccoy numbered 26/99. The card is very nice front and back.

Autographs are plenty in this set, Five autographs were originally inserted in every box. During production press pass decided to add an additional autograph to every box which might explain why we received a duplicate of Charlie branch. If you wouldn't get upset over receiving two Joe Theisman autographs you shouldn't complain about getting two of Charlie.

There are different levels of autographs which include non numbered and numbered versions. All of the autographs are on card which is a great compliment to the effort Press Pass has given this set. There is only one redemption and thats of lee corso. He was ill when the set was going in production but has promised to sign all of them.

We also received a press plate actually we received 2 of them. Both of them are for the same card but 1 is the front and the other is the back. Great matching set. I do not believe poor collation was an issue here but the plate themselves. Each are bent and fit nicely in each other. I was holding them and didn't realize i had two right away.

This product delivers everything [except a complete base set] that a collector could want. Six autographs and a game used swatch in every box. It is an excellent product and every football fan should enjoy busting this product. Sadly it might also be the last one. Another card company has exclusive rights now to the NCAA so I am not sure if press pass can continue to make these sets. Hopefully I am wrong and we can bust another box next year.
